Plymouth Music Zone is a
Plymouth based music education charity/company. They provide music workshops, tuition, training, curriculum support, after school clubs, team building and music services to the city of
Plymouth and beyond. They are well resourced with a wide range of equipment from traditional to electronic and have expertise in many styles of music making.
They are also a part of a national network of Youth Music Action Zones set up in areas of social and economic need by national charity Youth Music. Plymouth Music Zone has also benefited from a capital initiative from Space for Sports and Arts which resulted in the creation of The Plymouth Music Zone our state of the art music making base in Brickfields,
Plymouth. The centre houses a recording studio, performance hall, activity rooms and offices. Plymouth Music Zone currently provides between 80 - 100 weekly music making activities to approximately 1200 young people right across the city of
Plymouth.
